Limitless

I am limitless.

I am infinite potential.

I am one with the all encompassing creator.

I am one with all beings, one with all creation—one with the limitless expanse of space.

I AM

wondrous.

Beauty.

I am

experiencing myself in six billion pieces.

I am

the fractals, dancing in consciousness

I am the material world.

I am the body – the universe of the body.

I am every organ, every tissue, bone and blood.

I am nothing.  I am space.  I am the SILENCE

the Silence that pervades in all things.

There is no separation

between me and the infinite,

I draw all to me in limitless expanse.

I am

the stars, the galaxies, the implosions

the pulse and the rhythms of the dance:

Shiva

crossing my mind, crossing my heart

dear beloved, he comes

in the ashes of before:

dance, dance

across my heart, dear beloved,

come evermore, into the expanse…

I am the rose.  I am the lark,

I am the warrior, the sword, the spear…

I am all time, I am all places—all things,

I am one with the limitless expanse.

Invincible, indestructible, flowing with all creation—

all knowledge, all time, all beings

all expressions—

the moon, the sky, the rose, the lark

singing in the glory of my heart—

Hallelujah, infinite

spire.

Touch

She followed the symbols drawn across his spine

tried to count them but they were infinite

“what do they mean?”

he could give no answer

his lips curved but there was

no answer

she traced the symbols drawn

across his spine with her subtle hands

moved to weave

herself into him

she pressed herself into him

joined with the rugged curves

of his body, he was there.

More than anywhere, she found him there.

Spirit of the Trees

I see now that you

have a face and mouth

hands and many eyes

peering from the depths

connecting me with something

far within myself

your arms reach out

long and wide to embrace me

you hold all in your hands

sun and sky and earth

merge

in your gentle majesty

I place my hands upon your bark

my light cascades into the ground

I can feel your roots

and the roots of your brothers

your sisters and your kin

bury me

I hear the sounds

of your slow voices

I sense the spirit within

the spirit that guides me

flourishing—

you have stories to tell.

I will listen.

Sorcerer

Take me to the land of your fathers

the land where the fairies roam

show me your glorious feathers,

your alchemical lore.

Oh do not hide the marks of

your magnificent splendor,

the furious touch of the dragon

that looms in your hair

shift and shape and craft me

with your mighty blow

take me swift into the arms

of your magical cloak

there, I ride the winds of dreams

surpass the scope of all imagining

lose myself in the sweet vales

of all that can be known.

A Time and Place For Us

I love you,

imperfectly

with the grace and madness of storms

I love you

at a distance –

frightenedly

I love your walls

tenderly – I touch them,

hold them as dear to me

as your love

what will you do if I

never lose them?

hold onto you,

as long as you will have me

I wish I could say how much I long for you to

press me

touch me,

like the first time I

was naked in your arms

but the saying

somehow

suspends me

let me be naked, than

to show you how it goes

naked in mind, body, soul

I trust you

to care for me

you don’t know how for how long

we’ve misunderstood

speaking through such heavy walls

lifetimes

of words became distorted

fragments of pain and suffering

I say to you there will be a time,

a time and place for us.

In the Still

Looking in the mirror, I find you there

still, but very much present

like the presence of my being

you’re there

when I’m walking in the depths of my heart

still, like a barren tree

you stand behind every newly opened door

who knew

that all the pathways

somehow, led back to you

like the unfolding labyrinth

of God, compressed upon itself

fractals upon fractals

dancing in sweet ecstasy

I hold you like the trees hold one other

rising and falling,

two canopies – twisting

transforming

like the riverbed.
